PULL-OFF ADHESION TESTER

INTRODUCTION

PUII-OFF ADHESION TESTER is used to measure adhesion strength of coating adhere to the substrate.
A dolly of fixed diameter is attached using glue to substrate surface whose coating adhesion is to be measured, it is then pulled perpendicular by using a hydraulic actuator and pressure pump assembly. When dolly gets pulled and separated from Substrate, the pressure is measured which defines quality of coating adhesion.

Gauge compatible with various dollies and attachment like 10mm, 14mm, 20mm (Ideal for measuring higher bond strength coatings on metals),50mm round (Ideal for measuring lower bond strength coatings on wood, concrete, and plastic) and 50 x 50 Square Dollies (Ideal for measuring lower bond strength coatings on wood, concrete, and plastic).

4. Dollies:

Dollies are made of Single Piece High Quality Stainless Steel have high breaking strength and hence are re-usable.

5. Wide Substrates and coatings:

Testing is usually performed on vast substrates, including metals, plastics, concrete, wood and glass. Compatible with various coating materials, like paint films and powder coatings, UV cured, ceramics, epoxies, bitumens (tar enamel, asphalt mastics), thermoplastic resins
